Merry Christmas from the Dominican Republic!

It's Christmas Day, Merry Christmas to everyone that follows our Adventure!
It's different spending Christmas without family and friends, and even more different spending it here in the DR.
Not much could make us feel more removed from all that was familiar being here in Luperon DR. We've done our best to make it feel like the familiar celebration it has been in past. We've got a Christmas tree up and decorated, there are Christmas lights strung in our cockpit and presents under the tree. Krista has Turkey for us tonight and pumkin pie for desert!
Cole did most of the decorating himself and has been as excited as any kid about Christmas and what it means to the 3 us. We're missing our family and friends but we're making the most of what we have and where we are.
Luperon is a very poor villiage on the North Coast of the DR but they are a very happy people. We stand out like a sore thumb here as we wander the streets avoiding the many scooters and small motor bikes zipping up and down the narrow streets. Oh yes, and the cows that occasionally wander the sidewalks too. lol
Thanks for all the Christmas wishes and for following our Adventure here on our Website/Blog and through our YouTube Channel.
We've got an interesting story we're going to tell on our Blog of our crossing from Turks and Caicos to the DR, but I will leave that for later.
Enjoy your holidays where ever you are, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and yours. We wish you the best : )
Brad, Krista and Cole
