Tropical Storm Erika

Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers from family and friends!

Hurricane Erika has now become a non issue according to NOAA, and our floating home, our Fountaine Pajot Sailing Catamaran Saltair 3, is safe at dock in Fort Lauderdale.

We are all good, even our cruising friends have breathed a sigh of relief knowing that their boats too, will not be in trouble from TS Erika.

As far as our mega move, our big final move from land based living to permanent water based living and the sale of our house goes, we are now settled into mom's place for a few days in Chilliwack B.C. with our remaining things stored safely in her cellar. (that took a looooonnnnng time and a lot of effort over days and days... Thanks to both our mom's for all their help and understanding)

Now we prepare for our return to Saltair 3 (flights booked for Sept 16th) and the subsequent provisiong and final upgrades to Saltair 3 and then... we set sail for Southern Latitudes.

The goal for/by January 2016 is Trinidad and Tobago and then it's onto Panama.

But for now it's one day at a time... one leg at a time...
